The Headland Hotel & Spa, Torquay

The hotel boasts a lovely restaurant and public areas, but the rooms are in need of some attention. While the food is excellent and well-prepared, the service at reception left much to be desired during my stay. Evening entertainment was okay, but overall, the breathtaking views make it worth the visit despite the room issues.

This hotel has a charming atmosphere and friendly staff who genuinely care about the guests, which made my stay pleasant. The spa services were a highlight and provided a true sense of relaxation. However, the food experience was quite disappointing, particularly during dinner, and some facilities felt dated, which detracted from the overall experience. I also faced difficulty with parking, making it somewhat inconvenient.

I recently enjoyed a three-day break at The Headlands Hotel, and overall, it was a lovely experience. The food and service were exceptional, making every meal a delight. However, I felt let down by the room's condition, which needs a bit of a refresh to match the rest of the hotel's standards. The price for my sea view room felt justified given the stunning views it offered, but the room itself left something to be desired.

I had a delightful stay at the hotel. The size of the hotel combined with its friendly atmosphere made for a welcoming experience. With incredible sea views and excellent dining options, it exceeded my expectations. However, accessing the town requires a bit of effort due to its hill location, which might be challenging for some.
