The Headland Hotel has fantastic sea views and offers a clean and comfortable stay. However, the service felt a bit disorganized and the dining experience left much to be desired. While the facilities are good, the inconsistency in service may deter some from fully enjoying their stay.

Rooms

The rooms were clean and offered great sea views, but I was disappointed with the small size and limited storage, which made it hard for a longer stay.
Service

Service was friendly but disorganized, with staff seeming more focused on upselling than providing a welcoming atmosphere.
Location

The hotel is perfectly located, offering stunning views and a refreshing seaside atmosphere that is hard to beat.
Dining

Dining options were limited, and the pushy service during meals was frustrating, taking away from what should have been an enjoyable experience.
Facilities

The facilities, including a new spa, show promise but still need improvement to meet the expectations of a luxury hotel.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the plus side, the rooms were beautifully cleaned and very comfortable, providing a breathtaking view of Fistral Beach. However, the service was disappointing at times. The location is fantastic and perfect for beach lovers, yet it can get crowded during peak times. There were some hits and misses with dining, especially during breakfast. Overall, I think it’s a place worth visiting, but be cautious about peak times and dining expectations.

The rooms were spotless with lovely decor, including feather down duvets and pillows. The view of Fistral Beach was breathtaking and the bed was extremely comfortable.

I had a lovely time at the hotel, with breathtaking views over Fistral Beach and a beautiful setting. The service was excellent, apart from a few hiccups with breakfast and billing. However, the dining experience at Samphire restaurant was outstanding, with delectable food that I would rate among the best I've tasted. The facilities, while charming, had their issues, but overall, it was a very nice stay that I would likely repeat.

Rooms

I stayed in a Fistral View Hybrid Suite, which was lovely, beautifully decorated, and well-maintained. I slept very well thanks to the comfortable feather down duvets.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, with its amazing staff making everything feel so special. The room was luxurious and warm on a dreadful day, with a fantastic bathroom and stunning decor. However, I had a slightly disappointing experience with the service during checkout due to an unforeseen hospital visit, which left a sour taste at the end of an otherwise great trip.

While the staff were brilliant overall, I had an unfortunate encounter regarding checkout after a hospital visit, which felt insensitive.

My stay at the hotel was truly exceptional, steeped in rich history and luxury. I felt like royalty in the suite where the Prince of Wales once stayed. The staff was incredibly accommodating, providing excellent service and catering to my dietary needs. The hotel offers fantastic facilities, including a stunning spa area, but during peak times, the service can feel a bit overwhelmed. Overall, this place promises a memorable experience but comes at a steep price.
